It’s convient for me

This house worked really well with a larger family, and it has plenty of space to feel comfortable. The best aspect is that it is ideally situated in an area with a lot of great restaurants, shops, bakery, arcade and movie theater, and food trucks. The neighborhood is very classical Portland, and it’s fun just to walk around through the area and the parks.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful historic home close to many great restaurants, grocery store minutes away. Awesome updated kitchen and amazing old world charm. Spacious for three couples.

Host is professional. While the pictures were of the place key details were not captured. Here were some of our issues unfortunately: - there is a very strong smell of rat urine or something similar coming through the basement from teh vents. This is not something cleaning can resolve. It's an old house but at this price range this isn't really expected - There was trash and food scraps left on the back porch - There was hair on the bathroom floor in the shower - Lastly this location is next to a hoarder house that felt a bit sketchy. Again at this price point we were hoping for a bit more We still had a decent time but at almost $1000 a night this was probably one of the worst places we've stayed at. Woudl deserve a better review if the cost was 1/2 of what it was

I'm so confused about the good reviews of this place. The description and the listing is highly misleading, and led us to cancel our stay early. This house has not been recently renovated. There is a lot of wear and tear on everything, including heavy staining on carpets, rugs, and furniture and unclean surfaces. The floors were sticky and we found hair in the bathtub. The worst is that we felt unsafe because the door had obviously been broken into earlier and not replaced. There's a large hole from the outside of the door to the inside doorknob, so you can take the knob out from outside. There's also an entry into the basement through a hatch that is not secured. Lastly, the amenities were not as described. The A/C units are only in 3 of the 4 bedrooms (the room with twin beds only has a dusty box fan) and the dining room. No other rooms have A/C. The host did not want to refund us so we had to go through AirBnB. They still charged the cleaning fee so our 1 night was over $800.

Great stay all around at this house in a relatively quiet but still active area of Portland. There's a supermarket and pharmacy within a five minute walk, along with a few bars and coffee shops. The place itself is an older house with tasteful renovations, including a new kitchen, plenty of updated furniture and a large TV, along with comfortable beds and window AC units. A perfect home base for our group of six. Communication with the host was very quick and clear, they're always responsive and gave very detailed instructions. Will definitely return if we've ever back in the area.

We had a great time at our stay here! Perfect for a girls weekend and lots of parking. We walked to get dinner and enjoy some of the local shops.

Awesome Portland house on Belmont. Beautiful old house with many renovations and air conditioning! Hosts truly made us feel like guests and were very flexible and accommodating. Can’t wait to stay here again with our family of four!
