I needed a place for one night, and this fit the bill. The bed was very comfortable and location was convenient. It's a very small apartment, but it was fine for my short visit. Daniel responded quickly and was cordial.

The stay overall was as expected, the bed was comfortable and I slept well. There was quite a bit of noise through the ceiling from the upstairs neighbors at all times of the day. The room/studio was quite small, I think having two people in the space might be a little overwhelming. The communal washer/dryer area (with the other Airbnbs ??) wasn’t well maintained and I don’t know how well the machines actually cleaned my clothes because the machines weren’t clean. The night before my check-out someone attempted to enter at 1:30 in the morning and even knew the code to unlock the key box. Also like another review mentioned the blinds on the front door were damaged so even if they were closed, someone standing on the front steps could easily see into the space.

I’ve stayed as a guest for Daniel a few times now and he never disappoints. Responsive and friendly as always. His places are clean, comfortable and cozy.

The Airbnb unit was perfect for my weekend trip. The best reason to stay here was the great neighborhood with so many restaurants and shops while a short drive to downtown Portland. I’d come back here anytime and appreciate Daniel’s attention. The fall color was an extra bonus and my walks were amazing regardless of the weather.

The place was beautiful and it was located in such a convenient place if you needed grocery’s or to go out to eat!

This is more like a hotel room than an AirBnB, but it was clean, quiet, in a great location, and at a good price point. The only issue is that Daniel uses a non-AirBnB app for check in, check out, and other information about the rental, and the app is glitchy and hard to use. I wish we could have just done everything through AirBnB instead of having to log in to a different app. But he let me check in early on short notice for $50, and the room itself was clean and easy.

Very good communication from host. Ground-floor apartment is well-equipped and comfortable. Very close to shopping, restaurants and transit. Reasonably clean, though the rug needs a shampoo and we found a few stray hairs in the bathroom. A quiet street so no traffic noise, though we did hear neighboring residents moving about. Overall, we had a nice stay and would stay again.

Daniel’s place was a perfect spot to land while I was out and about Portland and Hawthorne prepping for an upcoming weddings. It is incredibly walkable- the Safeway nearby and Jam and Grand Central Bakery were an easy short walk. The neighborhood is beautiful, and if you don’t need a lot of space in the apartment itself you are golden. Bed was comfortable and large. This is not the fault of the airbnb- just being some ear plugs if you are a lighter sleeper as trash pick up day and Hawthorne street traffic may be loud some mornings.
