Great place!

Great spot

Host was very friendly and responsive. Location was great, safe, and quiet. Kitchen and bathroom were clean. Rug and carpet are stained, which made an otherwise clean apartment feel dirty. Rug in family room is curled on one corner and has large, knotted fringe, which pose tripping hazards. Exterior door opens toward stairs up to main level and takes up most of the small landing, which makes for a very awkward entry, especially with luggage. If you have large, heavy luggage or much luggage at all, you need to know that there is a long flight of stairs up to the main level and another similarly long flight up to the bedroom. We could not use dresser in bedroom due to someone’s clothes being left in drawers. Overall, this place met the basic needs for our stay.

Fantastic location on Hawthorne and plenty of space for a couple! Daniel was very easy to get in touch with.

Had a wonderful stay. Daniel was very proactive sending multiple messages with details leading up to our visit. Highly recommend!

Great location--close to grocery store, bus stop, good places to eat, and convenient to get just about anywhere. It was also quiet and comfortable. My teen daughter slept on the sofa (Daniel was very gracious in providing extra sheets and a blanket) and found it very comfortable. We had a rental car and had no trouble finding parking within a block. Would be glad to stay there again.

Wish I could’ve given 3.5 stars, I know ratings are important for Airbnb businesses. Just did the Thya at all worth nearly $200 / night ($186 with tax) for what I got. Danielle was very nice and responsive. Check-in was easy and the bed was comfortable. The TV was also nice. It’s just that the place had a very motel feel to it, like it was throwing up quickly to make money as an Airbnb. I was sold by the nice pictures, especially the one of the living room with the TV. That is probably the nicest space in the whole place. Can’t speak to how functional the little kitchen is, but it looked like you’d have everything you need. There are three different levels, you go upstairs immediately to the kitchen/living room, then up one more level to the bedroom/bathroom. The carpets look old and dirty. The toilet didn’t flush correctly, but I bet that would be a quick fix with the plunger. This place would’ve gotten a much higher rating from me if it was in the $100/night range.

Loved our stay - quiet, comfortable, and convenient to everything we wanted to do while staying in PDX!
