Loved this spot and area and would stay here again !
This spot is spacious and the layout puts a lot of space between the bedrooms. But, the bathroom is almost unworkable and would not be acceptable for guests with even minor mobility issues, of size or height, etc. It’s unpleasant and uncomfortable, very dated and not in a cool way. Notable that there is a washer dryer outside, below the unit. It’s fine, but it’s not “in unit” and is inconvenient if you’re traveling with kids and select that amenity specifically. Nice porch/patio, but next door neighbor is a junkyard. Photos appear updated and cool, reality is pretty rundown and quickly converted to a disappointing rental. Good walkable location.
Unfortunately this was a bad stay for us. The place had clearly been photographed awhile ago, as there were a lot of signs of wear and a broken cabinet with sharp edges and a wall with a large crack in it in the bathroom behind the sink that they covered with a hand towel. Check in took 15 minutes and multiple calls and texts as the pin hadn't been updated. Inside, every pot was dirty with baked on food and silverware tray was covered in grime. The cabinets pots and bowls were kept in were visibly dirty and appliances were kept in a nook with water damage and what appeared to be mold. One of the mixing bowls had dirt and hair in it. There were multiple spots that appeared to be blood around on walls and the floor, as well as a large, thick brown stain baked onto a floor heater. Can't fit all the issues in due to character limit. Host only offered a clean and maintenance check that we would have to vacate for during the reservation for multiple hours or a partial refund for the night.
This was the first time visiting Portland and I am very glad I stayed at this apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I was very impressed with how quick I received a response. The host went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and even offered to mail us a jacket that we forgot.
We loved the access to Mt. Tabor, cafes, restaurants, shops & food carts. It is surrounded by quiet, beautiful, funkie & historical Portland neighborhoods as well. Great location!
This Airbnb is in a great location - close to coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. The place has OK amenities, although there could be some upgrades in the small touches like the quality of the coffee, shampoo, conditioner, etc. It's an old house with some quirks, and things feel a little run down - there were no lampshades on the lamps in the living room during our stay. The host was responsive and helpful when we had issues with WiFi and the lockbox. Overall, it suited our needs but was missing a wow-factor that we were hoping to find!
Loved this location! Great access to local coffee shops and good restaurants near by.
Cute place and good location on eastside of Portland. The host was quick to respond. Only issue we had was the code to get in didn’t work but the host responded within a few minutes with a new code. I’d stay there again!
Great location to explore good food and Mt Tabor from, comfy beds and the essentials for a quick trip in town
Wonderful old style apartment that has been stylishly upgraded. It’s got a nice view off the front porch. The outdoor sitting area was super cozy and everything was walkable. Very close to mount tabor park for running and watching the sunset. The shower was great and the beds were the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in besides my own. It was great!
