Good place to stay

Connor provided a lovely place to stay - and he kindly set us up in this air bnb when the one we originally booked was damaged before our stay, and he was responsive when the power went out in the middle of the night from a storm! Very responsive and friendly host!

We loved our stay here!! It is well furnished and near many cute neighborhoods. Highly recommend and will stay here again if I visit Portland again!

I had a bad experience here. The place itself is nice and looks similar to the photos. It’s well equipped the kitchen has everything you could need even more than average. It was reasonably clean though not spotless. My main issue was with the noise. Inside the bedroom there’s a walk-in closet where the washer and dryer are located, and there was a constant loud engine noise coming from that area. At night when everything outside is quiet the noise becomes even more noticeable and makes it very hard to sleep. I reported the issue, and at first the hosts were responsive and asked for a video. I sent it around 7:30 p.m. but I didn’t hear back. By the next morning (around 9:30 a.m.) I had to contact Airbnb directly, who handled it and provided a solution and some compensation. This is something that a simple walkthrough could have easily detected, since it’s an ongoing noise. So either they already knew about it and ignored it, or they didn’t properly check the

We had such a great stay! The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The apartment was super cute, clean, and had everything we needed. There were lots of great places to eat and things to do within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was dirty. The walls and baseboards had dirt on them, there was trash left under the bed, couch, and TV stand, there were ants and fruit flies, the floors were filthy, and the kitchen was a mess with all the dishes and shelves disgusting. The laundry machine is ancient and doesn’t work; it ruined several items of our clothes (ripped and stained w/ grease). They didn’t supply dishwasher or laundry detergent. They only provide 2 bath towels, while they did reach out and offered to bring more if we asked, I don’t want to have to reach out to request something and then have to coordinate said item. It’s not that hard to just provide the items as extras in the closet. Also warning, the upstairs neighbors were very noisy (especially at 3-4 AM). The place is on a busy street and traffic can be heard at all hours. Street parking is a block away and didn’t feel the safest. The AC unit is in the living room without one in the bedroom, so you have to keep the bedroom door open.
