Location, Location, Location! Very comfortable accommodations for family gathering. Big kitchen, nice sized table for meals and games, nice living room. We were comfortable but for some reason two of the three heaters didn't work. Also the downstairs bedframe creaked so loudly it woke the other person up. The three other beds must have been newer. There were no instructions about how to access the internet and no contact person to text or call. You can call but then they respond through Airbnb, which is of no help if you do not have internet. Out of the 50 or so times I've stayed at airbnbs, two times there were unforeseen problems with checking in and without someone to call or text you are seriously out of luck.

I want to start off by saying that the house is absolutely beautiful, very clean, and a perfect location, and was exactly as described. There was plenty of K cups for coffee, and the kitchen is well appointed. Overall, for size and comfort, we were very happy with the house and would certainly rent it again. The issues, were that the toilet handle in the downstairs bathroom is broken and jagged, one of the guests cut their finger on it and we had to work on stopping the bleeding because it was a deep cut. The knob on the dial for the fan in the bathroom upstairs does not turn and clearly has been glued on a few times and you can see that someone has tried to fix it previously, but although attempts were made to fix it, it can’t be used to turn the fan on. You can also only use one shower at a time. If you try to use both showers, the water pressure upstairs becomes just a trinkle. Downstairs bathroom walls by the toilet look like someone has urinated all over them. Yellow dripping

We spent a weekend here for a bachelorette party and were disappointed with the house. The alleyway from the street to the house is narrow with an electrical box right next to the gate (easy to run into in the dark). We only had one set of keys for 8 of us so it was a hassle going back and forth to the gate. All parking within the area was 2-4 hr max paid parking. We found a public paid lot to park in which was a 10 min walk away. It would have been nice to know ahead of time about parking garages or open lots for groups of people to park. The house itself needed a more thorough cleaning. It smelled like weed when we walked in and the bathrooms & floors were dirty. The window above the kitchen sink was leaking water and had very obvious water damage all around the window. The fans in the bathrooms didn’t work and there was no instructions on using the heating system in each room. Unfortunately the only good thing about this house was the location on 21st St.

Location, location, location! Short walks to coffee shops, Trader Joe’s, restaurants & bars. We were thankful for the A/C, clean linens & towels, and comfortable beds. Our family of six had plenty of room to relax in the evenings after exploring Portland during the day.

Cute house in a great location - walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. Trader Joe's was down the block for easy access to groceries, and excellent coffee shops and bakeries within a couple of blocks. Was nervous about other reviews mentioning noise from the restaurant and bar next door, but it wasn't an issue even on the weekend. Only downsides were that the floor and carpets could use a cleaning, and the beds on the first floor were squeaky.

The property is peaceful whilst being in the middle of a bustling neighborhood. The host accommodated most of our requests and was super responsive of all our queries. Definitely recommend this place for large groups, bang for their buck.

The house was clean. The host was very responsive and kind. It was hard to find parking late at night in front of the house. We always found a spot about 2 blocks away. The streets are safe to walk on. We never felt unsafe. If you want to be close to the city and be in the middle of Portland life, this is a great place to stay! I recommend it.

Spacious, clean house with plenty of communal seating and a lovely outdoor patio. Despite being in a busy area, the house is tucked away and it was very quiet. Very central with lots to do in walking distance, including Washington Park and Powell's bookstore. There are also a number of great cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood. There were homeless people on both this block and the surrounding blocks. The location is also not ideal if you're bringing a car as the nearby street parking all has a 2- or 4-hr time limit, except after 7pm or on Sundays.

Our stay in Portland short but great. The Airbnb was super comfortable and very clean. Location was prefect for what we needed, you can walk to bunch of different places. 10/10
