We had high hopes for our girls’ trip to Portland. We booked this house for its spacious layout, expecting a relaxing stay. We didn’t stay a single night due to multiple health and safety concerns made unfit for occupancy. Although the host initially seemed understanding, they ultimately became difficult about a refund. This forced us to contact Airbnb directly, who honored the refund. The key issues: 1. Unlocked and uncovered floor crawl space inside a bedroom closet that connected to the outdoors through a boarded-up window. A security risk, as someone could have entered the home from underneath. 2. Active ant infestation with traps scattered around the dining area but clearly ineffective. It was unsanitary, and the host never disclosed the pest issue in advance. 3. Unsecure basement access not disclosed in the listing. The interior basement door could only be locked from the basement side, leaving guests no way to secure it. 4. The home was superficially cleaned with a musty smell.

We had some issues with electrical things. Host did their best to resolve issue quickly and fairly. The homes is lovely and in a great spot. Would recommend especially for large groups.

Location and home was good. A little outdated. Parking stated 2 hour limit during the day. Overall a good experience.

A great place to stay! Location is awesome in a quiet neighborhood, but still very close to the city and lots to do nearby! The place is very spacious and clean and the bedrooms are very comfortable!!

We stayed here for my husbands 30th birthday and we loved it! Good proximity to lots of fun things and the house itself was awesome! It was super cool, unique and spacious! Would absolutely return.

Our stay here for the Alton Brown show at the Schnitzer was very convenient. We loved the wide open floor plan with some quirky bedrooms hidden around. The kitchen looked wonderful in the pictures, but it is also where our only letdown lies. The large stove that we’d seen in the pictures was replaced with a smaller lower quality stove. With that being said, it did not hinder our ability to whip up some Good Eats and enjoy them on both the breakfast bar and the grand dining table. All in all this was a great place to relax with the hustle and bustle of downtown. The hosts were very communicative and kind. We would consider staying here again.

I think the house Floorplan is the definition of spacious open concept. Street parking was easy. I always parked right by the door with plenty of other spots open. Most important for us was a short easy walk to downtown for visiting family. Clean, comfy, private location.

Second time staying here. It is very, roomy, open and inviting. Great house for spending time with friends.
