We were in constant contact with the host prior- we had two families, one three year old and one 10 month old. Everything was fine until we checked in. We entered the house - and discovered that someone’s belongings and items were in the unit. We were roaming around the unit - and this poor occupant most likely did not know of this. It was then we messaged the host and she simply stated it was double booked. This was an understatement at best. It was 4pm, getting dark and we had dinner reservations at 5. We needed a pack n play and now was forced to find other accommodations. I do not understand how this could be possible considering how far in advance we booked and messages with the host in advance.
Great little spot! The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful - tons of coffee shops, restaurants, etc. and super walkable. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed, and the host was really responsive. Overall a great stay.
A great loft in a great part of Portland! We've stayed here a couple times and will definitely be back!
Loved our stay, my favorite thing is that they don't require us to do chores at the end of our stay. Of course we loaded the dishwasher and left the place tidy but it was nice for once to not have an extensive list of things to before checking out. The house was cozy and open at the same time, plenty of space and nice furnishings in a great neighborhood and at a great price! Also, the bed situation was why we picked it, three queen beds was hard to find in dt Portland. And they had a/c units in all rooms so we were comfortable our entire stay. Thank you for a great weekend!
Convenient location and very responsive host. There's a lot to walk to, including restaurants, bars, and fun Portland shops. Parking is difficult, but that's the Pearl District for you. The neighborhood is a little louder than we expected, and there is only one bathroom. Thank you for a great stay!
Needs a deep cleaning and new carpet on stairs.
Had a wonderful stay with the family, everything was as advertised. If you’re looking for great walkability in one of Portlands best neighborhoods this place is perfect. Amazing restaurants, bars, and shopping within easy walking distance. They were accommodating for our young children and dogs. Any questions we had were quickly answered.
Choosing this unit offers the perfect combination of a calm, well appointed apartment in an upbeat neighborhood with endless food/venues, parks, and attractions. The unit is perfect for a family as lots of space, a full kitchen and privacy. Host is responsive too with helpful tips for enjoying area. Would definitely recommend!
This lovely home was perfect for our stay. Home away from home. Walkable distances to the downtown life or make an adventure to explore further sights. Nearby a park and emergency room for our furry members if needed. Location was easy even if parking might have been unique, you can easily find you’re able to park a few blocks over without having to pay. Definitely a place I would recommend and save to go back to into order visit this lovely area.
