Good location but missing key elements of a great Airbnb. Worked for our needs because we have family in Portland but the home is in need of some maintenance and renovation - paint chipped, wood floor needs refinishing etc. Kitchen is lacking basics to actually cook (ie any seasonings beyond salt and pepper, oil, Tupperware/foil etc). Light in one of the two bedrooms was extremely dim. Only one nightstand in each of the two bedrooms. Found it strange to advertise the Airbnb as a whole home but instruct visitors that they only can use two of the four bedrooms otherwise they will be charged. Host is very communicative and we did not request anything because our stay was brief. However, if you’re looking for cozy and welcoming charm in an Old Portland Airbnb (vs a bare bones experience) then I’d look elsewhere.
