Situated on a busy street but luckily had parking directly across from the unit. Plenty of restaurant options within walking distance. The shower has great pressure! Beds and comforters were very comfy. Plenty of windows for natural light. Didn’t stay long enough to utilize the kitchen but seemed well stocked.
Listen. If you want to stay in a place that feels like Portland was in the days of the beforetimes, this is your place. Chic, antique, and yet modernized. I walked in and I was transported back to 1994 getting ready to see a show at LaLuna. This is a place that puts you in the part of old Portland that feels pre-bougie, but also so artful and classy. I wanted to move in. It was what I needed. I lived in Portland for most of my life and moved away for love. This place made me miss home- but also a home that hasn't felt like home since we would walk to have blueberry pancakes at The Roxy at 3am. Oh, Portland. My Portland. I miss you and the smell of incense at the Big Bang before they tore you down and built the hotels. Anyway. Definitely stay here if you want the most authentic, old school Portland experience.
Gorgeous place and incredibly spacious!
We loved our stay!
Very cute spot with nice beds, everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. Most importantly, it is super central and close to many of Portland’s best restaurants and attractions. Would recommend!
The interior is very nice, great large kitchen. Lots of room to spread out. Lots of natural daylight fills the space. Great sized bedrooms. The windows are maybe original so there’s a good amount of street traffic that you can hear in one of the bedrooms, especially on the morning that the garbage is collected. Maybe bring ear plugs? And we had a little bit of trouble finding parking on the street near the house. Also, once you enter inside after opening the digital lock on the exterior door, there looks to be another unit inside on the ground floor. We heard other voices and assumed they came from the unit below. The door has another digital lock. But there’s no locking door between the rental which is up some stairs and this ground floor unit.
LOVED staying here! The house was absolutely perfect for myself, husband, and 2 kids! Everything was clean and exactly as described - we had lots of space to comfortably spread out and relax during down time. Kim was beyond helpful throughout our stay! She was always so unbelievably quick to respond any time we reached out and also very proactive in sharing instructions and updates - we were really impressed and she made things easy for us! We’d love to stay here again next time we’re in Portland!
Beautiful, clean, and in a great location.
Classic big old Portland home divided into separate units and well styled. Rooms were toasty warm on our dark, wet evening arrival. Yummy pillows. Watched a movie on the big TV. Water pressure in the showers really nice. We walked to the radicchio and cider festival at Redd East event space nearby, then to coffee the next morning, so the location was perfect for us. Yes, there are stairs and yes we needed ear plugs to block out late evening conversations at the pub next door, but these weren’t deal breakers for us and we’d stay again if they’d have us.
Great pristine place!
