In a vibrant community in Portland, great restaurants, coffee, ice cream, bakery within blocks. head a great visit
The location, host communication and check in are excellent. If you prioritize location and need multiple bedrooms, this is a great airbnb.\n\nA few things are worth mentioning:\n- there is a lot of noise at night. In particular, noise from the street (buses, trucks) throughout the night as well as noise from neighbors (very thin walls). If you are a light sleeper or bothered by noise, this is not the place for you.\n- general condition of the apartment: this is an old house that has been refinished with some newer amenities. Doors do not close fully, the bathroom and shower leaves a lot to be desired, etc. The renovation work is not super hight end, though adequate (faucets worked, etc). It feels like a 3-star accomodation. Basic, good enough if you're not picky.\n- cleanliness: the place was cleaned, but there is a fair amount of pet hair and pet smell in parts of the apartment. Also, the baseboards, nooks and crannies have accumulated dirt and grime.\n- Beds are very soft.\nOverall: 3.5/5
Check-in was a breeze, the place was immaculate, and the beds were super comfy. Just a heads-up: there’s only one bathroom on the main floor (as the listing says). That’s pretty typical for the house’s style. So, if you’re someone who likes to use the bathroom late at night, just be prepared to walk down a few stairs. This wasn’t a huge issue for us and all in all this was a great place to stay. Would like to stay again.
Great value for the stay in Portland. Place was very clean and had everything you need for a short stay! Connor is very responsive and helpful. The place does have two sets of steep stairs so its a little precarious with a toddler. Overall, a great find in Portland. Thanks again!
I found this place for the night as I was traveling home and wanted a good spot to stay that was close to good food places and coffee shops. I love this neighborhood too so was fun to pretend like I was a local for the evening/morning I was there. One thing I will say is that you can hear the cars driving by, but if you have earbuds in (especially while sleeping), it is easy to tune them out. Connor was probably one of the most responsive hosts I have ever had, responding quickly when I had trouble figuring out my app to find the code. That alleviated a lot of my stress! I would definitely come back with my friends again the next time I am in town!
the balcony should be cleaned as dog poobs are there. windows are too old. overall satisfied.
nice place in the heart of a great area to explore
The location is so great. So many good restaurants, shopping, bars, etc. very close by. A really fun and walkable neighborhood. The place itself is in great condition, had everything we needed including ample towels, comfortable beds and a Keurig machine with plenty of local coffee pods. Connor provided easy instructions for accessing the unit, and was extremely responsive, helpful and friendly when we reached out. Would recommend 10/10 times. Thanks Connor!
Great for what our group needed. Loved the short walk to the nearby cafes. Parking wasn’t as bad as I thought especially on a Saturday. It was great for our day trip!
We had a great stay at connors place - He was extemely proactive and really clear with his instructions. The place itself was wonderful, great space, easy walk to great restaurants, coffee etc. I would reccomend bringing ear plugs with you because the windows are thin and you can hear the cars outside from the main bedroom, but other than that it was a wonderful stay and I would stay there again:)
