It was great to have David’s place as a landing spot after a long day of driving! This place was cozy, exactly as it was in the photo and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!
The apartment was a perfect place for me and my husband to spend Valentine’s Day. We had a little bit of a Wi-Fi issue but was able to fix it easily with fast responses from David. The atmosphere was very peaceful
Nice and responsive host. We extended our stay a night and they responded within less than 5 minutes on what the cost would be an extension booking (helpful when you are scrambling on if you’re staying or going). Apartment was very charming, layout a little odd, but close to a convenience store, multiple bars, and a great brunch place. We are local and wanted to venture to the other side of the river without driving home after drinks, but if we ever wanted another staycation we would stay here without question.
His place was quiet and cute! I had an issue with the tv but David and maintenance came quickly and fixed the problem . I appreciate the kindness! Definitely will be a repeat stay and also recommend to anyone looking for a cute place to stay!
The place was on quiet street . Beds were comfortable . Very clean everything we needed. But .. sadly the upstairs neighbors were very loud . Coming and going at all different hours . Normal talking but an old building creaky floors and thin insulation. The hosts were totally responsive and helpful . Though some info needed to be updated . I.e wifi access and password. It is a place for very sound sleepers
Great stay. Beautiful place easy to get around the city.
The location of David’s place is so convenient, about 10 minutes from the heart of downtown, & close to some great restaurants & coffee shops right down the street! Would 100% stay again.
David's place worked for me.The location was perfect as I was visiting family in the same neighborhood. The bed was comfortable, nice sheets and towels. The shower over clawfoot tub had good water pressure. The kitchen - which I didn't use - looked to be well equipped with newer appliances. Keeping the apartment warm involved deploying multiple electric wall heaters and a plug in space heater for the bathroom. As other guests have said in their reviews, the apartment is in a tired older building and the noise (foot fall, not voices) from other apartments leaks through.
If you are traveling to Portland and wanna be in walking distance to a lot of food/bars this is the place to stay had a great stay and would definitely return Also David is super nice and kind and handle all my needs very well!
David was very responsive to messages
