Great location. Walk to Jam for breakfast, Farina Bakery across the street and Grand Central bakery across the street from Jam. \n\nIt’s easy to get into Portland from this location and there’s a lot within a 20-25 minute walk or 5 minute drive. \n\nMatthew’s place was very clean, open, and my daughter really appreciated the Nespresso coffee maker with local coffee pods. \n\nBeds were super comfortable, good shower pressure, washer and dryer worked extremely well as well as the dishwasher. \n\nWould absolutely stay here again and recommend.
Matthew’s place is in a really awesome part of Hawthorne that is very walkable. The place was clean but basic. One bed is on a very high platform that my son had trouble getting in and out of and there were people staying in the apartment above which made for a lot of loud noise late at night. The most problematic issue was that we were provided with the wrong entry code. This is run by a property management company, so while we had quick responses, they also charge extra fees for early check in or late checkout and will ask you to use a separate platform for check in instructions, that in our case, were incorrect.
The apartment is in a great location with so many things right out the door. Bars, restaurants, bakeries, shops, it’s all there. The apartment has all that you need for a great stay in Portland. The kitchen is very well equipped if you want to cook meals.
Matthew was very responsive, which was so helpful. I had also booked my trip before I was approved for my plane ticket, and he was very accommodating and understanding about a shorter reservation. The Air Bnb was very comfortable to relax in after a long day at a conference.
Great location. Incredible neighborhood. Beautiful space.
Thanks Jordan, great to have you stay. A wonderful guest.
The place was as described. Comfortable and clean. There's a bakery across the street, which is worth trying. Street parking was somewhat difficult to find, but other than that it was a great stay!
Walkable area, street parking was easy to find right outside the apartment. Had a little outdoor space that would be nice in warm weather. Simple apartment that met needs for a clean place to stay, however, it had a lack of decorations to make it cozy.
Great hosts and very conveniently located! Very responsive
I loved staying here! it was a perfect taste of Portland without being directly downtown. the space was comfortable and close to everything that we needed. Many places were within walking distance for us! Stayed with my toddler and felt very safe and like we had room to do everything we needed too.
