If you would like to stay in a house infested by stinkbugs, spend your time vaccuuming them up, listen to them flying around at night making their tapping noises, wonder/worry about who has access to the house bc of strangers entering (and receiving an “apology” that was internally inconsistent, and try to communicate this with a “superhost” who is actually an AI who provides incorrect instructions (we were given 2 different codes and instructions for check in), who communicates with emojis and exclamations but without any context to the conversation you’re having, get so fed up that ultimately you end up leaving the house and cutting your trip short, and then deal with the headache of trying to work through compensation with Airbnb (2 phone calls and multitudes of messages), and still end up paying close to $500 for 2 terrible nights, this is the place for you! Dealing with an AI when you are having a problem is next level incompetence.
Beautiful home that was well stocked and nicely decorated. There was a stink bug problem throughout the house. Alice said she would hire an exterminator. Fireplace was broken but Alice’s team was responsive. There isn’t a desk, so I wouldn’t say there’s a dedicated workstation.
My family enjoyed our stay at Alice’s place. Alice was very communicative, and the space matched the description. The only issue we experienced was a large number of stink bugs in the house, which was a bit uncomfortable at times. Otherwise, everything was as expected.
Unfortunately this host submitted a fraudulent damage claim, charging us for a whole replacement of their cheap Wayfair bed that we had only slept in. It evidently cracked due to its poor quality during cleaning, and they charged us for an alternate bed that was twice the price, since their actual bed had this cracking issue listed in the public reviews and was poorly rated. We went to Alice’s place during a time of grief and loss to get out of town for a bit, but the effort of fighting this fraudulent charge of almost $600 for damage that we did not cause was not worth the headache. I would warn guests to be cautious during their stay.
Wonderful stay! We stayed here for a month and loved our time. Went on walks, hikes, and enjoyed staying in the cozy house. Alice was a wonderful host and so helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
Alice was a great host, so quick to respond to questions. The home is lovely, comfortable and clean. The neighborhood peacock was a fun surprise. The neighborhood was very quiet, and peaceful. Felt so much part of nature.
This place is adorable. You can tell that they put a lot of thought and care into it to make it comfortable. It seems like it is pretty new place so everything is new.
Such a cute little home, perfect for a girls trip! We spent the days hiking the trails and the evenings cooking lavish dinners in the spacious kitchen. Lodging was clean, comfortable and convenient. One thing to note is the pool is off-site and best suited for families/children. Great experience!
We had the most wonderful stay at this charming little cottage! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had so many thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. The cottage was super cozy, the kitchen was well-stocked, beautifully decorated. The location was ideal, peaceful and private, yet close enough to explore the nearby trails. Alice was incredibly kind and responsive, making check-in a breeze and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway — such a cozy, welcoming place to unwind. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay near Mt Hood.
Great space—comfortable and conveniently located near lots of delicious restaurants and beautiful hiking trails. The host was wonderful and responded quickly with helpful information. Highly recommend!
