We absolutely loved our stay in Rhododendron, the house was a perfect home base for a weekend of mountain adventures. Alice was a great, attentive host and provided everything we needed to enjoy time with family and friends. We hope to be back! Thanks again!

The house is decorated cute and had good vibes, and the outdoor space was fun. However, overall we were disappointed. It was not as clean as it first appeared — we found food under the kitchen counters, the upstairs sink had hair and dirt in it, and the kids’ room clearly hadn’t been vacuumed.The home was much smaller than expected. Bedrooms are tight, there is no master suite, only two bathrooms total (one up, one down), and four of the seven beds are twin bunks. The couch was not great, only seating 3 not so comfortably. The biggest issue was the quiet hours policy, which was sent after booking. Guests are not allowed to talk outside, be outside, or use the hot tub between 10 PM and 8 AM. Given how close the neighbors are and the smallish indoor space, this felt excessive and should have been clearly disclosed upfront. The outdoor space would be great for teens to hang out if we had them. The kitchen was well appointed and we were glad to have a large dining room table for meals.

The house was beautiful, Alice was very responsive and fast communication from her was appreciated! House is absolutely amazing , modern and clean . The mattresses are but soft for me but everyone is different so I guess that’s hard to please everyone, one room upstairs have “open” wall so you can hear everything if you want to go sleep but others want continue talk in kitchen area , the arcade room also amazing . There’s plenty of towels , dishes , games , everything , we would absolutely love to go back one day , even tho we had a little issue with one of the neighbor which knocked on our doors even at 1am and we weren’t loud or anything, it’s obvious that this person might be bothered by people who rent this house but that’s something what Alice can’t do anything about - even thought she tried to communicate with that person . Overall we were very happy there and satisfied with the stay .

Nice Property with Some Minor Issues The house was exactly as described in the listing, which we appreciated. There were plenty of activities and amenities for both adults and kids to enjoy. Our dog particularly loved the backyard, which was a great space for her to play. On the downside, the cleaning could have been more thorough. We noticed some stains on dishes and the trash cans hadn't been emptied when we arrived, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the property itself met our expectations and had a lot to offer for families. Note: During our stay, there were some disturbances caused by people in the neighborhood (not related to the property or host). While the host couldn't have prevented these incidents in the moment, Alice was extremely empathetic to our concerns and very helpful in addressing the situation afterwards. We provided some constructive feedback on potential security improvements that could benefit future guests.

The house was absolutely beautiful, and we really loved the backyard! The game room and hot tub were definitely highlights for us. Alice was a fantastic host—super attentive. Big thanks to Mari too!

Well stocked. Short drive to Sandy Ridge trail systems. 40 min to Mt Hood Meadows ski resort. Great hot tub.

Alice's place was phenomenal, stocked full of fun things to do and had everything we needed!

Highly recommend for families! The playroom is amazing. Kids loved it (especially with the rainy days).
