A cute spot with quick driving access to Mt Hood. Walking distance from a really good bakery and a grocery store. Keep in mind that it’s not private or secluded and there are neighbors all around you. The master bed wasn’t very comfortable as it sank in quite a bit, but other than that we enjoyed our stay.
Alice’s place was very cozy and aesthetically pleasing. The cabin was only 15 minutes from Skibowl. It was the perfect location and accommodating to my group.
Had a great time at this quite, cozy cabin.
I was so excited to book with Alice initially-- listing looked beautiful, she mentioned 4 beds (included a pull out sofa) which would be perfect for our little group of 6. She also talked about an airstream - I had no idea what an airstream is but turns out the 4th bed was in the airstream, which made our adventure to the mountains much less enjoyable since we would be separated. There was a storm that knocked down power lines and the WiFi would be would - she offered a 25% which was very fair, but our biggest concern was if there would be cellular service. She told us there was- cell service was at a bare minimum and lost of us barely had one bar so we couldn't even stream on the television. There was house panels dangling (likely from the storm) that banged on the house all night making it difficult to sleep. Finally, she listed pet fee $99, and yet insisted I pay $149 claiming that it was due to fees. I explained that is a 50% fee and she referred me to Airbnb .
We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The host was responsive and made check-in and check-out very easy. I would absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay here again.
Overall: There are good elements here, but the stay didn’t fully match expectations for the price. Pros: • Very clean and nicely furnished, including the Airstream • Hot tub, fireplace, and kitchen worked well • Responsive host and convenient, walkable location Cons • Significant exterior storm damage not disclosed in advance • Airstream doors and locks were difficult to use • Worn upstairs king mattress affected comfort • Property was less secluded than listing photos suggested • Partial refund for internet outage was delayed and lower than expected due to unclear fee calculations
Great location for my family! Very cozy and peaceful! We recommend this for families and good management
Worth every penny, the place was just as described nestled in a perfect spot 30 minutes from The Mountain top of Mt Hood! Also lots of stores, restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. I can't wait to bring my kids back. Don't hesitate to book w Alice!
We had an amazing stay at Alice’s place. The house was very cute, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The master bedroom mattress was super comfortable. The hot tub was great too. The cabin is a short walk from the grocery, amazing bakery and a few great cafes. We loved exploring the area and the trails nearby. The drive to the gorge is not too bad either. Overall, we had a great trip! Thank you Alice!
The space was absolutely beautiful and definitely a great place to come back to after a day of going out. The peaceful serenity it gives is unmatched.
