Someone else was staying in cabin already due to a mix-up in management. So we walked into a cabin that was already occupied by other guests in a remote area. Staff was quick to answer the phone, extremely apologetic, and refunded promptly but we no longer had a place to sleep for the night. Everywhere nearby was booked so we ended up cancelling our weekend and driving all the way back home.

Alice ruined our trip by canceling 4 hours before check in after we had already began heading to Welches. I called the number Alice provided to ask if this was a mistake but the number was disconnected. She responded in the chat and said she hadn’t canceled, which was a lie and confusing. She didn’t provide any further communication or explanation. We then found she had reposted the listing for the same night without communicating anything to us. With such short notice, we had no comprable options on Airbnb and all local hotels were booked forcing us to turn around and head home. I’m still confused what happened, I’m not sure it’s a scam, maybe it was a mistake, but book this listing at the risk of getting stranded like I did. Worst experience I’ve had in 10 years of using Airbnb.
